Melville Housing will close for a fortnight from 3pm on Wednesday 23 December for the Christmas and New Year holiday. We will reopen at 10am on Thursday 7 January 2021.

When we reopen after the new year the services we provide will be restricted by level 4 measures introduced across Scotland to help combat coronavirus. These restrictions mean that:

• We will be delivering a reduced maintenance service with the focus being on urgent repairs. Please continue to report all repairs as usual, however non-urgent maintenance issues will be dealt with once restrictions ease
• Planned maintenance work, such as kitchen and bathroom replacements, is suspended
• All appointments with staff will continue to be held online or over the phone until further notice
• Our office at the Dalkeith Corn Exchange will remain closed until further notice
• We will not be progressing any new mutual exchanges for the time being
