The Melville Board
Melville is led by an experienced Board that has overall responsibility for the governance of the Association, and the strategies and policies delivered by our staff.
Find out more about Melville's governance structure.
Board members are unpaid volunteers with a wide-range of skills who represent all sections of the community. They work closely with the senior management team on the planning, monitoring and control of high quality, efficient services to our tenants and service users.
Board members can claim travel and other expenses for attending meetings and we also offer training and encourage members to develop their knowledge and skills by attending seminars and conferences on behalf of Melville.
The Board meets a minimum of seven times a year. In addition members are elected every year at our Annual General Meeting in September. Meetings are usually held in the early evening and normally last a maximum of two hours.
