Melville Housing is to host a FREE fun family movie making day during the Easter holidays.

Taking place at the Dalkeith Corn Exchange on Tuesday 3 April 2018, the event is open to all Melville tenants and their families.

Beginning at 10.30am and finishing mid afternoon, the event will also include a FREE buffet lunch.

Perfect for parents of children aged between 7 and 12 years of age, the event is organised by digital skills initiative Discovery (run by mobile communications provider Three), and will feature:

• a morning session all about making stop motion movies, including tips and advice on how to make your own animated movie using props and scenery
• a buffet lunch suitable for families
• an afternoon session all about animation, including creating and narrating your own cartoon, using a selection of characters and settings
