As part of the ongoing review of the condition of our housing stock, Melville will shortly begin a survey of homes. The survey will help us meet standards set by the Scottish Government covering the quality and energy efficiency of all homes owned by social landlords.

Survey work will be carried out by Hardies Property and Construction Consultants who have completed previous surveys like this across Scotland. In order to carry out the work, the surveyor will need access to about 500 Melville homes however the survey is visual only and will not result in any disturbance.

The survey will be conducted during late July and August between the hours of 9am and 8pm Monday to Friday, or 10am to 6pm on Saturday. If you have any queries or concerns you can contact the surveyors directly:

Surveyors will follow all health and safety protocols and will discuss these before entering homes. All surveyors will carry photographic ID – make sure you ask to see this before allowing anyone into your home.
